Health insurance for 25 year old Greencard holder with mental health problems?

I?m a 25 year old male living in Florida, and I?m a Greencard holder with no health insurance. I?m looking for affordable health insurance. I have pre-existing conditions including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizo-affective disorder and Asperger syndrome. I take two medications for my mental health problems, one of which costs about $54 per month and the other costs about $33 per month. How much would the cheapest health insurance cost for me that covers most or all of the cost for my medications? Thanks for any help!

You can compare quotes from different companies for free at: Usa insurance quotes

You will not be able to get any individual health insurance with your health conditions, affordable or otherwise. Employment at a place that has insurance would be your only option unless you were to go back to your own country.
People buy insurance for an accident or sickness that has not manifested itself. In simpler terms, you buy insurance for something that may (or may not) happen. Your asking an insurer to undertake the payment of your medical care and your medications for known conditions. And you want the insurance to be cheap? Kind of like asking ? There is a frying pan on fire in my kitchen where can I get fire insurance cheap? As noted already, It?s not going to happen.

So what to do?

1. If you are able to work seek an employer that offers group health benefits. Even then there will be a waiting period before full benefits are available.
2. Eligible residents of Florida can apply for coverage through the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan program run by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
3. If you are low income or your disabled due to your health condition you might be eligible for Medicaid.

There is no health insurance in the U.S. that will cover any medicine for any preexisting condition during the first 6 months after you get insurance. Most won?t cover it for 12-18 months, and some won?t cover it ever. But none will cover it during the first 6 months.

If you stay in the U.S., the cheapest health insurance for you is going to cost between $200 and $3000 per month, and you are going to have to pay for the medicine, yourself, using only your own money, without using the insurance, for at least 6-18 months, and possibly longer.

The only good news is that you do have a cheaper option. The United States of America is the most expensive country in the world to get medical care or medicine. Because you are a greencard holder, you must be a citizen of some other country. You can move back there and get your medicine, insurance, medical care, or whatever, for a fraction of what it would cost in the U.S. I do not know which country is your home country, but I don?t need to know; they are all cheaper than the USA.
